A good concise, entertaining read for those looking to do a thru-hike. I have read several books on the subject and have been watching numerous videos (including Appalachian Trail Tales), and still found this book informative. - Kevin "Shaker"
So much information from a middle age couple who actually walked the entire 2188 miles of the Appalachian trail in 2017. This provides most of the information you will need to finish this trail. Or just for a week, month etc.
Excellent book. Way better than some others I wanted my money on!
Jen and Greg give you the “down and dirty†on how to high the AT. It’s not just another story of their hike but a no nonsense “this worked/this didn’t†wrap up. Highly recommend this book as part of your hiking research!
